When things get rough

A little uncomplicated guide on what to do when things get a little chaotic.

I. ༄ Let them be ༄

There is beauty in chaos, even though most of the time we are not able to see it in the effects of the storm. Still, was there a single time you didn’t grow from your misery? Of course, we would all prefer if someone just tells us what to do and how not to make mistakes, but if we are honest, we probably wouldn’t listen anyway. Instead of pushing against the chaos and the pain, try to embrace it. Write about it, talk about it, dance, walk, cry about it. Whatever you choose to do, don’t suppress it. That has never worked out well.

II. ✐ Make art out of it ✐

Not everyone is an artist, but not everyone needs to share their art either. Art can be anything from the classical drawings to a poem or a new business idea that emerged from your suffering. The best ideas are always born in the storm. Why? Because they are the most resilient.

III. ☆ Pack your lesson and leave ☆

Pain is a signal to leave. If our body signals us that something isn’t all right, you need to react. Sometimes you might can’t. After all, we can’t turn back time or change certain situations, but we can always choose to learn from it. So take your lessons and go. It doesn’t matter if you leave physically, but you do need to leave mentally. Old ways won’t open new doors. If you crave to change your life’s path, you simply can’t stay on the one you have walked up until now.
